Building Word Maze #3. Playing with Twitter

Any online project needs a Twitter account.

It’s fast, it’s fun and it’s also fickle, so you don’t need to be too consistent. (There are some experts that will try to convince you that consistency is the most important thing, and the best thing to do is to tweet five times a day… Hm… not convinced…)

Tweets are a great way of driving traffic to a website, so most tweets include a link.

I’m trying something different. I’m going to see whether I can build some followers by tweeting a ‘preview’ of the podcast.

Each episode will incorporate a word that I didn’t know the meaning of, or a word that I “kind of knew what it meant” but wasn’t sure of the exact meaning.
While I get the podcast ready, I’ll be tweeting the words I’ve come across and the books they’re coming from. But no link. If you want to check out the book, you’ll have to look for it elsewhere.

Ok, let me know what you think.
And let me know if you read any of the books.
